Philippines Day 3

We went to my older cousin’s house, Ate Bubot. We took a jeep and tricycle for the first time. We were accompanied by Josef. He is ate Bubots son, and he is so nice. Actually, her whole family is. They are very hospitable. Our mom traveled there with some friend of hers but we really don’t know this lady so there is a trust factor that we are dealing with. We don’t want just random people to stay at my aunts house. We stayed at ate Bubots and waited for ate Jennifer to come home from work. We got to see some family members, ate, took pictures, caught up. Its pretty crazy seeing my cousins all grown up with kids that were our age when we last hung out. We wanted mom to stay with us our entire trip, but she always seemed eager to go home. When it was time to leave, mom went back home with her friend and we traveled home with ate Jennifer through the tricycle and jeep. Its a pretty exciting experience. We stopped at Walter Marts and Mercury drugs to get our moms medicine. Two words.. Shady business. We walked around the mall and I bought souvenirs for a whopping $2.00 Wooo hoo! I love that everything is inexpensive here. After that, we went to the grocery store and came home with Ate Jennifer. Ate Jennifer and I ended up catching up and talking, it was nice. Then off to bed we went. This time, we stayed up a bit later than 8:30.
